Product Overview
ADC128D818CIMTX/NOPB is a supervisory ADC rather than a waveform digitizer. Eight voltage channels, a local temperature sensor and per-channel limit/status registers let a host monitor rails, margins and board temperature through one I²C device.
The internal 2.56 V reference simplifies rail supervision; an external reference can be used when the input scaling or accuracy target requires a different full scale. Conversion speed is modest, consistent with system-health monitoring.
Interrupt/status logic can notify the host only when a measured value leaves a programmed window, reducing polling load.
