Product Overview
TLV3201AIDBVR combines nanosecond-class response with very low quiescent current in a five-pin package. It targets portable high-speed threshold detection where standard microsecond open-collector comparators are too slow.
The push-pull output actively drives both high and low, avoiding the RC rise-time penalty of an open-collector pull-up. That simplifies fast logic interfacing but removes wired-OR capability.
The input common-mode range extends slightly beyond both rails, making near-ground and near-supply thresholds easier on a 2.7–5.5 V system. The DBVR order code is the 3000-piece SOT-23 reel.

Functional Highlights
Push-pull output preserves fast edges in both directions
No external pull-up resistor is required, so output rise time is less sensitive to PCB/input capacitance.
40 µA current is unusually low for 40-ns response
The device fits battery systems that need occasional fast event detection without keeping a high-power comparator biased continuously.
Design Considerations
- Do not wire multiple push-pull outputs together as with open-collector comparators.
- Use tight layout and controlled hysteresis for noisy fast thresholds.
- Check input overdrive/common-mode conditions when relying on the 40-ns headline.
