Product Overview
ADM2682EBRIZ-RL7 is the 16 Mbps member of the ADM2682E/ADM2687E isolated RS-485 family. It integrates the digital isolation barrier, RS-485/RS-422 transceiver, and a 5 kV rms isoPower dc-to-dc converter in an enhanced-creepage 16-lead package.
The RI-16-1 package provides greater than 8 mm creepage and clearance, so mechanical layout around the isolation barrier is a primary selection issue. The part also supports up to 256 nodes and ±15 kV ESD protection on the bus pins.
