Product Overview
INA821IDGKR is a precision wide-supply instrumentation amplifier that combines low 35 µV maximum offset, 7 nV/√Hz voltage noise and 4.7 MHz unity-gain bandwidth. It is a stronger fit than micropower zero-drift amplifiers when the sensor signal includes faster dynamic content or the ADC front end needs lower broadband noise.
The DGKR order code uses the compact leaded VSSOP package. It preserves visible leads for inspection while occupying less board area than SOIC, making it a practical compromise between density and manufacturability.
Gain is set with one resistor from 1 to 10,000. At high gain, RG becomes very small, so wiring resistance and parasitic capacitance around the gain pins can materially affect gain accuracy, stability and high-frequency CMRR.

Functional Highlights
Low noise and MHz bandwidth suit dynamic precision signals
The 7 nV/√Hz input noise and 4.7 MHz G=1 bandwidth are useful for fast bridge, current-shunt or test signals where a 50 µA zero-drift INA would be too slow or noisy.
VSSOP keeps lead visibility without SOIC area
DGKR can reduce footprint relative to INA821IDR while keeping conventional gull-wing joints, which helps optical inspection and rework in precision analog assemblies.
Design Considerations
- At high gain, include RG pad/trace resistance in the gain error budget.
- Keep parasitics on the two gain pins balanced to preserve CMRR versus frequency.
- Check input common-mode range and output headroom for the selected single/dual supply.
