Product Overview
AT30TS74-SS8M-T is a Microchip digital temperature sensor with programmable 9- to 12-bit resolution and configurable high/low alarm limits. It is software-compatible with common LM75-style sensor architectures while extending the bus to I²C high-speed mode.
At 12-bit resolution the temperature LSB is 0.0625°C. The sensor also includes ALERT functionality, shutdown and one-shot conversion modes for systems that need lower average power.

Thermal-Measurement Considerations
PCB copper and nearby power devices can shift the package temperature away from the air or object being measured. Place the sensor where board temperature represents the intended measurement point and use one-shot/shutdown modes where self-heating must be minimized.
