Product Overview
The MCP41010-E/SN is the extended-temperature SOIC-8 version of Microchip’s 10 kΩ MCP41010 SPI digital potentiometer. It provides 256 programmable wiper positions for calibration, gain setting and electronically controlled resistance.
The wiper memory is volatile. Systems that require a known calibrated setting after a power cycle must restore the desired code through SPI.

Design Considerations
Absolute resistance tolerance is relatively broad, so ratiometric divider applications are less sensitive than circuits requiring an exact rheostat resistance.
Wiper resistance becomes a larger fraction of the programmed value near the low end of the code range.

Quality & Verification Support
Third-party inspection or testing can be arranged according to customer requirements. Testing fees are borne by the buyer. Additional verification requirements can be discussed before shipment. After an order is placed, physical product, label, packaging, and Date Code photos may be provided where appropriate.
Request a Quote
To request a quotation, provide the manufacturer part number, required quantity, destination, target Date Code if applicable, and any testing or inspection requirements.
Compare MCP41010-I/SN when an industrial-temperature ordering code rather than this extended-temperature -E/SN option is being evaluated. Both have 10 kΩ nominal resistance, but exact environmental requirements and order codes must be checked. See the digital potentiometer category for broader selection.
