Product Overview
ULN2803CDWR extends the familiar Darlington array architecture to eight channels, one more than the ULN2003 family. That extra channel can align better with byte-wide control buses or eight-relay/solenoid banks.
Each input includes a 2.7-kΩ resistor for TTL/5-V CMOS logic, and every output has access to the common clamp-diode node for inductive loads.
The 20-pin wide SOIC provides the extra channel and pin count at the cost of more PCB area than seven-channel TSSOP options. The DWR suffix is the 2000-piece production reel.
