ADM2587EBRWZ-REEL7 combines the RS-485/RS-422 physical layer, digital isolation, and an isolated dc-to-dc converter in one wide-body SOIC. The ADM2587E is the 500 kbps member of the ADM2582E/ADM2587E family and can be configured for half-duplex or full-duplex links.
The integrated isoPower supply removes the need for a separate isolated dc-to-dc block in many interface designs. Its 2.5 kV rms isolation rating, ±15 kV bus-pin ESD protection, and support for up to 256 nodes make isolation architecture and bus loading central selection parameters.
