Device Overview
TMP1075DSGR is the large-reel WSON-8 orderable of Texas Instruments’ TMP1075 digital temperature sensor. It is designed as a higher-accuracy, lower-power replacement for LM75/TMP75-class devices while retaining a two-wire I2C/SMBus interface.

Engineering Selection Notes
The ±1 °C figure is not valid over the complete -55 °C to +125 °C range. TI guarantees ±1 °C from -40 °C to +110 °C and relaxes the full-range maximum error to ±2 °C.
The 12-bit output corresponds to 0.0625 °C resolution, but resolution is not the same as absolute accuracy. Firmware can report fine temperature steps while the sensor’s guaranteed absolute error remains governed by the applicable temperature range.
Low average current makes TMP1075 useful in always-on monitoring, but PCB heat flow can dominate error. Placement near regulators, processors or high-current traces can make the sensor measure local board heating rather than the intended ambient condition.
