Texas Instruments

Texas Instruments is a semiconductor manufacturer focused on analog and embedded processing technologies. Its portfolio covers power management, amplifiers, data converters, interface and isolation devices, sensors, logic, microcontrollers, processors, motor drivers, RF products and other building blocks used in electronic systems. TI supports applications across industrial automation, automotive electronics, communications equipment, personal electronics, data-center infrastructure and other embedded markets.

For engineers, the brand is relevant across both signal-chain and power architectures: TI components can be used to sense and condition real-world signals, convert and manage power, move data between interfaces, and provide embedded control or processing. The company also maintains manufacturer documentation, design tools and technical resources for a large number of orderable devices.

HKEQGOO brand pages group Texas Instruments electronic components by exact manufacturer part number so buyers and engineers can compare the specific device, package and application fit required for a BOM. Product availability, date code and inspection requirements should be confirmed separately for each quotation.

Product Overview

TLV3501AIDR is a very fast single comparator for timing, threshold and zero-crossing applications where tens-of-nanoseconds devices are still too slow. The 4.5-ns class propagation delay pushes layout and input overdrive into the same importance level as the IC specification itself.

Its push-pull output directly drives CMOS or TTL logic without an external pull-up resistor. The shutdown function can reduce activity or gate the comparator when a measurement path is inactive.

The exact AIDR order code is the SOIC-8 large-reel version. It should not be confused with slower low-power comparators such as TLV3201, whose design target is tens of microamps rather than maximum speed.

Functional Highlights

Nanosecond propagation supports edge/timing discrimination

Fast test, clock recovery and zero-crossing circuits can respond within a few nanoseconds when sufficient overdrive is available.

Push-pull output avoids open-collector RC delay

Both rising and falling logic edges are actively driven, which preserves speed into typical digital input capacitance.

Design Considerations

  • Use very short input/output traces and controlled grounding to prevent output-to-input coupling and oscillation.
  • Evaluate propagation delay at the actual input overdrive rather than only quoting the headline value.
  • Do not wire push-pull outputs together as an open-collector wired alarm bus.
