Device Overview
Qorvo ACT4752 is a programmable synchronous buck DC-DC converter family for wide-input power conversion. The manufacturer specifies a 4.5 to 40 V input range, 3 to 24 V programmable output and 0 to 4 A programmable output-current limit, with I2C control.
Selection-Critical Data
| Parameter | Confirmed Data | Engineering Relevance |
|---|---|---|
| Topology | Synchronous buck with integrated high-side and low-side MOSFETs | Defines the power-stage architecture and switching path. |
| Input voltage | 4.5 to 40 V | Must cover the upstream supply range. |
| Programmable output voltage | 3 to 24 V in 12.5 mV steps | Defines the configurable output-voltage range. |
| Programmable output current limit | 0 to 4 A | Defines the available programmable current-limit range. |
| Digital control | I2C Fast-mode Plus up to 1 MHz | Must match the host controller and configuration method. |
| Switching frequency | 450 kHz to 2.25 MHz; external synchronization supported | Affects switching-loss, passive-component and EMI design tradeoffs; it is not an RF signal band. |
| Package | 32-pin 5 x 5 mm QFN | Defines footprint and thermal/mechanical integration. |
| Lifecycle | Production | Supports current procurement planning. |
