Product Overview
ADUM4120ARIZ is an A-grade single-channel isolated gate driver from Analog Devices. It provides a 2 A-class isolated drive stage with 2.3 A peak output capability and supports output-side gate-drive supplies from 4.5 V to 35 V.
The A grade uses the lowest output-side UVLO option, with a typical rising threshold around 4.4 V. That makes the exact order code relevant where low gate-drive rails are intentional; B- and C-grade family members use higher UVLO thresholds and should not be substituted without checking the required gate voltage.

Gate-Drive Selection Considerations
The low A-grade UVLO can support lower gate-voltage power devices, but the external MOSFET, IGBT, SiC or GaN device must still be fully enhanced at the selected output supply. Gate charge and series resistance determine actual transition current and switching loss.
The 5 kV isolation package offers an 8 mm creepage class, but PCB spacing and isolated-bias design must preserve the intended system barrier outside the IC.
