Product Overview
MCP41010T-I/SN is the 10 kΩ member of Microchip’s MCP4101x single-channel digital potentiometer family. Its 8-bit wiper register provides 256 programmable positions controlled over an SPI-compatible serial interface.
The nonvolatile setting is not retained through power removal; firmware should therefore write the required wiper position during startup when a defined resistance setting is needed.

Resistance-Range Considerations
MCP41010 and MCP41050 share the same digital control concept but not the same end-to-end resistance. Use MCP41010 for the 10 kΩ network and retain the full suffix when package and reel handling are controlled by the BOM.
