CD4051BPWR is the tape-and-reel TSSOP-16 orderable of Texas Instruments’ CD4051B CMOS 8-channel analog multiplexer/demultiplexer. Three binary select inputs connect one of eight bidirectional channels to a common signal node, while the inhibit function can disconnect all channels.

Multiplexer Integration Considerations
RON is significantly higher than in modern low-voltage analog switches, so source impedance and load current should be considered when routing precision analog signals. The benefit is the much wider allowable supply and signal span.
