Product Overview

The 1PS79SB30,115 is Nexperia’s active 40 V, 200 mA small-signal Schottky diode in the SOD523 package with the ,115 reel option. It combines low forward voltage with a compact footprint for signal steering, blocking, clamping and low-current power-path functions.

The 40 V rating and 200 mA continuous current are only part of the selection picture. Reverse leakage, junction capacitance and the forward-voltage curve can matter more in battery, signal or high-impedance circuits, particularly when the diode operates hot.

Design Considerations

Reverse current in a Schottky diode rises with temperature. The 25°C leakage limit is therefore not a direct worst-case standby-current figure for hot automotive or enclosed equipment.

The 1 A surge figure is defined for a short 8.3 ms event and cannot be used as a repetitive load rating. For periodic pulses, compare the waveform with the repetitive current and thermal limits.
