Texas Instruments

Texas Instruments is a semiconductor manufacturer focused on analog and embedded processing technologies. Its portfolio covers power management, amplifiers, data converters, interface and isolation devices, sensors, logic, microcontrollers, processors, motor drivers, RF products and other building blocks used in electronic systems. TI supports applications across industrial automation, automotive electronics, communications equipment, personal electronics, data-center infrastructure and other embedded markets.

For engineers, the brand is relevant across both signal-chain and power architectures: TI components can be used to sense and condition real-world signals, convert and manage power, move data between interfaces, and provide embedded control or processing. The company also maintains manufacturer documentation, design tools and technical resources for a large number of orderable devices.

HKEQGOO brand pages group Texas Instruments electronic components by exact manufacturer part number so buyers and engineers can compare the specific device, package and application fit required for a BOM. Product availability, date code and inspection requirements should be confirmed separately for each quotation.

Product Overview

TXB0102DCUR is an active auto-direction translator intended mainly for push-pull digital signals. Internal edge-detection/one-shot circuitry senses which side is driving and temporarily strengthens the translated edge, so no direction-control pin is needed.

That architecture is materially different from LSF/PCA pass-FET translators. Strong external pull-ups, open-drain buses or devices with heavy output loading can fight the TXB driver and cause poor edges or oscillation; I²C is therefore generally not the natural use case.

VCC isolation and Ioff behavior help prevent back-powering when one domain is off. The DCUR exact order code is the VSSOP-8 3000-piece large-reel option.

Functional Highlights

Automatic direction works well for lightly loaded push-pull buses

GPIO, SPI-like data or other point-to-point signals can change direction without a dedicated DIR line.

Power-domain isolation improves multi-rail sequencing

When either supply is absent, the translator does not intentionally drive the unpowered side through its outputs.

Design Considerations

  • Avoid strong pull-ups/pull-downs and open-drain buses unless the exact TXB application conditions support them.
  • Keep capacitive loading and trace length low enough for the auto-direction edge accelerator to work correctly.
  • Respect VCCA ≤ VCCB and OE sequencing.

Product Status and Exact Order Code

Texas Instruments lists TXB0102DCUR as Active / Production; VSSOP (DCU), 8 pins; 3000-piece large tape and reel; −40°C to +85°C.
