Product Overview
TMP235A2DBZR is an analog temperature sensor for systems that prefer a direct voltage signal instead of a serial digital interface. Its nominal 10 mV/°C positive slope and 500 mV output at 0°C make temperature conversion simple for an MCU ADC, comparator or analog control loop.
The absence of an I²C address, conversion register or digital timing can be an advantage in simple designs, but final system accuracy now depends on the host ADC reference, ADC gain/offset, analog routing and filtering in addition to the sensor itself.
The A2 option is the tighter TMP235 ordering grade, and the sensor covers −40°C to 150°C from a 2.3 V to 5.5 V supply.

A nominal 10 mV/°C signal means 1°C corresponds to only 10 mV. ADC reference error, ground offset and coupled noise therefore convert directly into temperature error unless the analog path is designed carefully.

- Budget ADC reference and input error together with sensor accuracy.
- Keep VOUT routing away from switching nodes; analog noise appears directly as temperature noise.
