Product Overview
The MP4248GQV-0011-Z is an active MPS high-power buck-boost device with integrated low-side MOSFETs, high-side current sensing and I2C configuration. It is designed for systems that must regulate through input voltages above or below the requested output, including high-power USB Power Delivery applications.
The device starts from 3.6 V to 36 V input and supports 1 V to 36 V output with 1% accuracy. MPS also specifies up to 98% peak efficiency and USB PD 3.1 EPR AVS/PPS compatibility. The 0011 suffix is a configuration/OTP identity and should not be replaced by another MP4248 suffix without confirming register defaults.

Design Considerations
The 0011 suffix represents a predefined configuration state, so replacing it with another MP4248 suffix can change startup/default behavior even though the silicon family and package are the same. Preserve exact suffixes unless OTP settings are deliberately requalified.
High-power buck-boost conversion also requires careful inductor, external high-side MOSFET and current-sense selection. Efficiency and thermal performance depend on the complete four-switch power stage, not the controller IC alone.
