Product Overview
ADM660ARZ-REEL7 is a CMOS charge-pump converter that can invert a positive supply to create a negative rail or operate as a voltage doubler. In inverter mode it accepts 1.5 V to 7 V; in doubler mode the input range starts at 2.5 V.
The device uses switched capacitors rather than an inductor. Its frequency-control input selects 25 kHz or 120 kHz operation, allowing a trade between 10 µF and 2.2 µF pump capacitors. Output voltage droops with load because the charge pump has finite output resistance.
