Product Overview
INA169NA/3K combines the 60 V high-side range of INA168 with the higher-output-current 1 kΩ transconductance architecture used by INA139. An external resistor converts output current to voltage, so the final voltage gain remains a board-level choice.
This distinction matters when comparing INA168 and INA169. Both can monitor 60 V rails, but their output-current scaling and quiescent current differ; copying RL from one family to the other changes the transfer function.
The exact /3K ordering option is the large-reel SOT-23-5 format. Electrical design should be based on the INA169 family transfer relationship, while procurement should retain the full order code.

Functional Highlights
Same 60 V bus range does not mean the same analog transfer as INA168
INA169 uses the 1 kΩ current-output core and about 60 µA typical quiescent current. INA168 uses the 5 kΩ core and about 25 µA. This changes both gain-resistor calculations and power overhead.
External gain helps match different ADC full-scale ranges
RL can adapt one shunt/current range to different converters, but the selected value must also satisfy bandwidth and output-compliance limits.
Design Considerations
- Do not use INA168 RL values without recalculating the INA169 transfer.
- Verify the direct TI datasheet/current family information when maintaining legacy BOMs because the local PDF asset is manufacturer-direct for this order code.
- Kelvin-connect the shunt and keep high-current ground/copper resistance out of the sense path.
