Texas Instruments

Texas Instruments is a semiconductor manufacturer focused on analog and embedded processing technologies. Its portfolio covers power management, amplifiers, data converters, interface and isolation devices, sensors, logic, microcontrollers, processors, motor drivers, RF products and other building blocks used in electronic systems. TI supports applications across industrial automation, automotive electronics, communications equipment, personal electronics, data-center infrastructure and other embedded markets.

For engineers, the brand is relevant across both signal-chain and power architectures: TI components can be used to sense and condition real-world signals, convert and manage power, move data between interfaces, and provide embedded control or processing. The company also maintains manufacturer documentation, design tools and technical resources for a large number of orderable devices.

HKEQGOO brand pages group Texas Instruments electronic components by exact manufacturer part number so buyers and engineers can compare the specific device, package and application fit required for a BOM. Product availability, date code and inspection requirements should be confirmed separately for each quotation.

Product Overview

XTR111AIDGQR converts an input voltage into a precision industrial current output using one RSET resistor and an external P-channel MOSFET. The external transistor moves most loop/output power dissipation out of the IC and allows a broad compliance range.

DGQR is the 2500-piece large-reel version of the 10-pin HVSSOP package. It has the same electrical core as DGQT, but the reel quantity is different; procurement systems should retain the full suffix even though PCB footprint/function are shared.

The adjustable 3–15 V regulator can power nearby signal-conditioning circuitry, while EF and OD provide loop-fault visibility and output control. Those system pins make XTR111 more than a simple op-amp current source.

Functional Highlights

External PMOS choice sets compliance and thermal margin

The transistor’s VDS, power dissipation and safe operating area must cover worst-case supply/load/current conditions; choosing RSET alone does not complete the output-stage design.

DGQR versus DGQT is a packing decision, not a signal-chain redesign

Both use the DGQ footprint; DGQR supplies 2500 per large reel while DGQT is the 250-piece small reel. This distinction matters to production purchasing, not board electrical behavior.

Design Considerations

  • Size the external PMOS for worst-case voltage drop and current with thermal margin.
  • Choose RSET tolerance/tempco from required loop accuracy.
  • Budget regulator load current and output compliance together so auxiliary circuitry does not compromise current-output range.
