Product Overview
SN74AHC1G32DBVR combines either of two active-high conditions into one output. It is useful for fault aggregation, wake sources or enable logic when the system wants a deterministic hardware result independent of firmware.
The single-gate SOT-23 format avoids wasting three unused gates from a quad OR device. Schmitt-action inputs also help when one source is a slower analog/power supervisory signal.
Unlike an open-drain wired-OR, the output is actively driven and the two inputs remain electrically isolated from each other.

Functional Highlights
Active OR combines two sources without tying them together
Fault or wake generators do not back-drive each other as they might through an improvised wired connection.
Tiny package puts the combine point near the destination
This can shorten a sensitive reset/fault net and simplify routing across the board.
Design Considerations
- Confirm source polarity: this is an active-high OR, not active-low wired alarm logic.
- Check power sequencing if inputs can be driven before VCC.
- Use valid AHC thresholds for any pulled-up supervisory source.
